Pavel Karnaukhov was born on March 15, 1997, in Minsk, capital city of Belarus.
He came to hockey when he was 6 years old. His parents brought him to the Yunost hockey school (Minsk), in the season of 2002-2003.

Assets: Pavel is one of the most talented players of his age. Usually, performs as a center forward but can also play a RW. Looks like to be a two-way centerman. Stands out with very good offensive and defensive hockey sense and vision. Reads the play pretty well. Has good scoring touch. A hardworking player. 

Shows excellent attitude. Has character. Competes very hard. Aggressive on the puck. Can skate - has wide stride. Has good wrist shot. Owns good hands - can give and receive passes well. A leader. Can create scoring chances for his teammates. Looks comfortable in physical play - along the wall, in the corners and in front of the net. Has much ice time. 

Plays in the first line of his team. Good teammate. A leader on and off the ice. 

Flaws: The player needs to work on his hands a little bit. He knows his flaws and how to fix them.

Career Potential: a player with good CHL and NHL upside.
